“Wreath Decorating Workshop”

 Ari Phillippi, the owner of Sparkle on Park, a Flower and Gift Shop in Worcester, will demonstrate how to create a winter wreath. They have participated in Flora in Winter with beautiful and unique arrangements.

Cost is $45.00 a person*

*Pre-registration and payment required. Wreaths and materials will be picked up at a central location. Details to follow.

“Making the Connection Between Japanese Barberry and Lyme Disease”

Scott William’s field of expertise is wildlife biology. His research involving Japanese barberry control strategies led to the eventual discovery of a positive relationship between barberry infestations, blacklegged or “deer” ticks, and the Lyme disease-causing spirochete.
